User Permissions in iSite are controlled by assigning one or more Security Groups to a User profile.  Each Security Group is assigned one or more specific Permissions to functionality within the iSite environment.  Collectively, a User's Permissions are a superset of all of the Permissions that are assigned to the Security Groups that a User has membership in.

How to Assign Security Groups to a User

  1. Navigate to Admin > Security > User Maintenance.
  2. In the User List, select the User to be edited by clicking the User name.
  3. In the Security Group Membership section, select one or more Security Groups that the user should have membership in by clicking the check box next to the desired Security Groups.
  4. If creating a new User, click the Create User button to continue, otherwise click the Update User button to continue, or click the Cancel button to cancel the process.
