The Rendering Drivers function on the Object Definitions tab of the Admin Page is available for Portal Administrators to manage the ability to render iSite object content into iSite Form Templates.  For instance, a Form Template can be setup in such a fashion so that Funding information which is created within the Funding Module can be inserted into the body of the Form Template document.  Administrators can add new Rendering Drivers, edit existing Rendering Drivers and delete Rendering Drivers.

What is a Rendering Driver?

Rendering Drivers allows for iSite object data to be merged into an iSite Form Template.  Rather than relying on separate reports to communicate data from an iSite module object, that data can be seamlessly integrated into a Form Template for the convenience of the viewer.  Rendering can be in a Simple Table format, where data is presented in Rows and Columns, a Simple Flow format, where data is presented in tabular fashion with each value being displayed on a separate line, and an Advanced Format where data can be intermingled with custom HTML.
