The Employee Labor Rates function of the Lookup Tables section on the Datawarehouse tab of the Admin Page is available for Administrators to manage Labor Rates used for Employees in calculations within the Task Estimating module.


Administrators can add, edit and delete Employee Labor Rates using this function.


Availability

Only users with the Portal Administrator, Task Estimating Administrator or Financials Administrator permission will have access to this function.

An Employee Labor Rate contains the following editable properties:

  • Labor Rate 3*
  • Labor Rate 4*
  • Labor Rate 5*
  • Labor Rate 6*

* These Labor Rates will only be displayed if configured to be used for your iSite License using the Datawarehouse Settings function.


The Employee Labor Rate List

The Employee Labor Rate List displays the Employee Labor Rates that are defined for the iSite License.  The list will display the following information:


  • Employee Name
  • Effective Date
  • Labor Class
  • Labor Subclass
  • Labor Rate 1
  • Labor Rate 2*
  • Labor Rate 3*
  • Labor Rate 4*
  • Labor Rate 5*
  • Labor Rate 6*
  • Labor Rate 7*
  • Labor Rate 8*
  • Labor Rate 9*
  • Labor Rate 10*
  • Labor Rate 11*
  • Labor Rate 12*
  • Labor Rate 13*
  • Labor Rate 14*
  • Labor Rate 15*
  • Labor Rate 16*
  • Labor Rate 17*
  • Labor Rate 18*
  • Labor Rate 19*
  • Labor Rate 20*

How to Use the Employee Labor Rate List

  1. Click on the Employee Name in the list of the Employee Labor Rate you would like to edit.
  2. Click the Employee column header to sort records by Employee Name.
  3. Click the Effective Date column header to sort records by Effective Date.


Filtering the Employee Labor Rate List

  1. To narrow the list results, enter a value in the Search box on the Toolbar then click the icon or press the Enter key. 
  2. Click the icon in the Search box to remove the filter.


Adding a New Employee Labor Rate

  1. Click the Add New Record button in the toolbar.
  2. Fill in the appropriate information in the Properties section of the page.
  3. Click the Save Record button to create the new record, click the Save and Add Another to create the new record and stay on the screen to add an additional record or click the Cancel button to abort the creation process.


Editing an Existing Employee Labor Rate

  1. In the Employee Labor Rate List, select the record to be edited by clicking the Employee Name.
  2. Fill in the appropriate information in the Properties section of the page.
  3. Click the Save Record button to update the record or click the Cancel button to abort the editing process.


Deleting Employee Labor Rates

Deleting an Employee Labor Rate is a permanent change and cannot be reversed.  Proceed with caution.


Deleting an Employee Labor Rate

  1. In the Employee Labor Rate List, select the record to be deleted by clicking the Employee Name.
  2. Click the Delete This Record... button in the toolbar.
  3. In the confirmation message pop-up, click the OK button to permanently delete the selected record or click the Cancel button to abort the deletion process.


Deleting Multiple Employee Labor Rates

  1. In the Employee Labor Rate List, click the check box next to each record that you want to delete.
  2. Click the Delete Selected Records... button in the toolbar.
  3. In the confirmation message pop-up, click the OK button to permanently delete the selected records or click the Cancel button to abort the deletion process.
