Task Group Categories
The Task Group Categories function of the Lookup Tables section on the Datawarehouse tab of the Admin Page is available for Administrators to manage.
Administrators can add, edit and delete Task Group Categories using this function.
Availability
Only users with the Portal Administrator, Data Warehouse Administrator permission will have access to this function.

Task Group Category Maintenance Functions
The following functions are available when performing Task Group Category Maintenance
- Adding a New Task Group Category
- Editing an Existing Task Group Category
- Deleting Task Group Category
Properties of a Task Group Category
A Task Group Category contains the following editable properties:
- Task Group Category Code
- Task Group Category Title
- Task Assignment Rule
*Note: Task Assignment Rules have two available choices.
- "Allow Assignment to Multiple Task Groups in this Category"
- Allows for a Task to be contained within multiple Task Groups for the Category in which you are Configuring.
- "Allow Assignment to Only One Task Group in this Category"
- Allows for a Task to be contained only within a Single Task Group for the Category in which you are configuring.
The Task Group Category List
The Task Group Category List displays the Task Group Category that are defined for the iSite License. The list will display the following information:
- Task Group Category Code
- Task Group Category Title
- Task Assignment Rule
How to Use the Task Group Category List
- Click on the Task Group Category in the list of the Task Group Category you would like to edit.
- Click the Task Group Category column header to sort records by Task Group Category .
- Click the Task Group Category Name column header to sort records by Task Group Category Name.
Filtering the Task Group Category List
- To narrow the list results, enter a value in the Search box on the Toolbar then click the
icon or press the Enter key. - Click the
icon in the Search box to remove the filter.
Adding a New Task Group Category
- Click the Add New Record button in the toolbar.
- Fill in the appropriate information in the Properties section of the page.
- Click the Save Record button to create the new record, click the Save and Add Another to create the new record and stay on the screen to add an additional record or click the Cancel button to abort the creation process.
Editing an Existing Task Group Category
- In the Task Group Category List, select the record to be edited by clicking the Task Group Category .
- Fill in the appropriate information in the Properties section of the page.
- Click the Save Record button to update the record or click the Cancel button to abort the editing process.
Deleting Task Group Category
Deleting a Task Group Category is a permanent change and cannot be reversed. Proceed with caution.
Deleting a Task Group Category
- In the Task Group Category List, select the record to be deleted by clicking the Task Group Category .
- Click the Delete This Record... button in the toolbar.
- In the confirmation message pop-up, click the OK button to permanently delete the selected record or click the Cancel button to abort the deletion process.
Deleting Multiple Task Group Category
- In the Task Group Category List, click the check box next to each record that you want to delete.
- Click the Delete Selected Records... button in the toolbar.
- In the confirmation message pop-up, click the OK button to permanently delete the selected records or click the Cancel button to abort the deletion process.
