The Manage Batch Import Sessions function on the Datawarehouse tab of the Admin Page is available for Administrators to view and manage Batch Import sessions, including the ability to automatically delete a series of records that were imported within a Batch Import Session.


Availability

Only users with the Portal Administrator permission will have access to this function.

Batch Import Session Management Functions

The following functions are available when performing Batch Import Session Management:


 

Properties of a Batch Import Session

A Batch Import Session has the following properties:


  • Batch ID
  • Table Name
  • Import Start Date
  • Import End Date
  • Elapsed Time
  • Records Processed


The Batch Import Sessions List

The Batch Import Sessions list displays all of the occurrences in which data was imported into the iSite Datawarehouse.  The list will display the following information:


  • Batch ID
  • Table Name
  • Session Start Date
  • Session End Date
  • Records Processed


How to Use the Batch Import Sessions List

  1. Click on the Batch ID in the list whose information you would like to view.


Filtering the Batch Import Sessions List

  1. To narrow the list results, enter a value in the Search box on the Toolbar then click the icon or press the Enter key. 
    1. Entering a numeric value will filter by Batch ID
    2. Entering a text value will filter by Table Name
  2. Click the icon in the Search box to remove the filter.


How to Delete From a Batch Import Session

  1. Navigate to Admin > Datawarehouse > Table Management and Utilities > Batch Import Sessions.
  2. In the Batch Import Sessions List, select the Batch Import Session that contains records to be deleted by clicking the Batch ID.
  3. In the Batch Import Session Viewer page, click the Delete this Batch... button in the toolbar.
  4. In the confirmation message pop-up, click the OK button to permanently delete all of the records for the selected Batch Import Session or click the Cancel button to abort the deletion process.


All records identified by the selected Batch Import Session will be permanently deleted from iSite.


NOTE:  Deleting Records from a Batch Import Session is a permanent change and cannot be reversed.  Proceed with EXTREME CAUTION.
