User Permissions in iSite are controlled by assigning one or more Security Groups to a User profile.  Each Security Group is assigned one or more specific Permissions to functionality within the iSite environment.  Collectively, a User's Permissions are a superset of all of the Permissions that are assigned to the Security Groups that a User has membership in.


How to Specify Security Group Membership

  1. Navigate to Admin > Security > Security Group Maintenance.
  2. In the Security Group List, select the Security Group to be edited by clicking the Security Group name.
  3. Click the Edit Membership button in the toolbar.
  4. In the Security Group Membership section, select the Users to assign to the Security Group by clicking the check box next to the desired User names.
  5. Click the Update Membership button to update the membership for the record or click the Cancel button to abort editing process.
